A useful thing for the drive home.

Glovebox turns a Raspberry Pi into a TeslaCam drive, then automatically copies new footage to your storage when you get home. Setup, backup, and a browser interface come together in one small device.

The software is free under GPL-3.0. You supply hardware and storage. There is no Glovebox subscription.

Built on good work.

Glovebox was inspired by, and started from, TeslaUSB. Bluetooth keep-awake uses Tesla’s open-source vehicle-command tools. See third-party notices for credits and licenses.

Independent, by design.

Glovebox is not affiliated with or endorsed by Tesla, Inc. Tesla and TeslaCam are trademarks of Tesla, Inc., used to describe compatibility. Raspberry Pi and storage vendor names belong to their respective owners.

A fresh identity.

This website introduces Glovebox’s new branding. The product screenshots show the redesigned device interface in light and dark mode, using demo data and generated sample footage. The hero is a technical illustration of a Model 3, shown with the Raspberry Pi and home storage.
